"Turtle-Tongue" Packed His Bags. The Villa Has Never Been More Relieved.

Bryce ("turtle-tongue") and Liv became the first islanders dumped from Love Island USA S8 — and the villa's exhale was audible. Plus: RHOA S17 Ep.10 turned Shamea's party into a K. Michelle vs. Drew standoff, and Peter McFerrin's Jeopardy streak is now officially documented at $116,800+.

Bryce Dettloff — yes, the guy Kenzie compared to a turtle while kissing, the guy who spent a week watching Kayda from the sidelines — was the first islander dumped from Love Island USA Season 8. Along with him went Liv, the least-coupled person in the villa. Just like that: Week 1 casualties, confirmed.

The first dumping broke something loose

Episode 5 (Saturday, June 6) ended the suspense that had been building since Kayda and Gabriel entered as bombshells and reshuffled everyone's couplings. The recoupling left Bryce on the outs — Trinity had already gravitated elsewhere, and no one rushed to save him. He walked. Liv walked. The villa exhaled.
Bryce's entire arc was a slow-motion public reckoning: called a simp on Day 1, clocked for "turtle energy" mid-kiss by Kenzie, then made to sit and watch Zach foam at the mouth over Kayda while his original coupling unraveled. Honestly, the edit did him dirty and the internet did him dirtier.
Episode 6 (Sunday, June 7) picked up the pieces — and apparently sent one lucky couple on a date outside the villa, per IMDB. The post-dumping glow was real 1.
Episode 7 aired tonight (Monday, June 8). Bombshells. A secret revealed. Someone shocked. The season is warming up.

RHOA S17 Ep.10: Shamea throws a party. It goes exactly how you'd expect.

"Star Spangled Mess" aired Sunday on Bravo and the title is doing heavy lifting. Shamea throws a surprise party for Gerald — charming! — while the cast starts circulating "speculation about her personal life." Also charming, in a RHOA way.
Meanwhile: Pinky Cole tried to take on a producing role behind the scenes for Drew Sidora's project and it immediately didn't land with Drew. K. Michelle is still not buying whatever Drew is selling. And K. Michelle is not what anyone would call subtle about it 2.
For context: Ep.9 gave us Drew's wig stylist vs. driver meltdown — the whole team going sideways in front of cameras while Drew cried — which critics called "the most Atlanta scene of the season." Ep.10 is that fight's hangover 3.
Angela and Shamea are still circling each other after their Dallas parking-lot standoff. The reunion is going to be a lot.

Jeopardy update: Peter McFerrin's winning streak is now officially documented

The official Jeopardy! YouTube channel dropped "A Week in Final Jeopardy!: 6/1-6/5" this past week, and the recap confirmed Peter McFerrin became the show's new champion during that stretch 4. As of last week he had banked over $116,000 across his games — putting him solidly in "must-watch-every-episode" territory.
The streak continues into this week. Ken Jennings already jinxed him once. It hasn't worked.
